Mission accomplished!

Pffff hij zit er op! Allereerst iedereen, zowel met naam als anoniem, enorm bedankt voor alle steun en de gulle donaties! 👏🏼 Dankzij jullie heb komt er een heel mooi bedrag beschikbaar voor het msfonds!

Het lopen zelf viel me zwaar, vooral de regen en de wind maakte het een stuk zwaarder dan waarin ik heb geoefend! 😅 Ik heb dus wat langzamer gelopen dan ik voor ogen had, maar ben met 3:59:10 wel nét binnen de 4 uur gebleven. Als kers op de taart ook nog derde in mijn leeftijdscategorie, dus ik ga met twee medailles en een trots gezin tevreden naar huis.

Iedereen nogmaals ontzettend bedankt, als ik er weer een loop houd ik jullie op de hoogte! 😝

The race turned out tougher than expected, especially because of the rain and wind! Conditions were a lot harder than what I practiced in! 😅 So I ran a bit slower than I had in mind, but with 3:59:10 I managed to stay just within 4 hours. The icing on the cake is that I turned out third in my age group, so I’m going home satisfied with two medals and a proud family!
